My First London Marathon
28 May 2024
I was (very) lucky to receive a ballot place for the 2024 London Marathon. A few weeks ago, on 21st April, I ran London for the first time. It was a fantastic day, the crowd support was incredible, and it's something I will never forget. -
I can't quite believe it's 2024
23 May 2024
When I was younger, I used to imagine what it would be like in the year 2000. And try and think what I would be like at 40-plus. It was almost impossible. And yet, here we are in 2024. Blimey. -

Marathon Training
19 August 2021
Yep, I'm training for a marathon. It's a 16-week plan which will culminate in running (and hopefully finishing) the Brighton Marathon (my first marathon) on 12th September. It's been an all-encompassing few months! -
Notes 1/21
23 March 2021
Here are some notes about recent work and web development things. I've not written a post like this for a while and I don't know if I will continue. As a result, I'm not calling these posts "Weeknotes" or "Month Notes" but just "Notes". It's a cunning plan, I think you will agree :-) -

10 March 2021
Running Up That Hill is a book by Vassos Alexander (a British sports reporter and endurance runner) where he describes his ultra-running adventures. Here's my review. -
